The name (and the drawing at the right) is a misnomer. The Pumpkin Pie Show has nothing to do with desserts, Halloween or Thanksgiving. Instead, this annual downtown event, is a collection of sensationally performed stories by the playwright and actor Clay McLeod Chapman. It would be too tricky for me to review the show because Clay and his wife Indrani Sen are friends but I just had to tell you that seeing the current installment, "Amber Alert," is a serious treat.
